A REVOLUTIONARY APPROACH
 
To the assessment and correction of muscular imbalances, joint instability, and limitations in range of motion within the human body. I evaluate an individual’s ability to produce efficient muscle contraction. Loss of muscle contraction results in a decreased range of motion, and therefore decreased physical performance.
A UNIQUE SYSTEMATIC FORMAT
 
Used to “jumpstart” the muscles in order for them to function with maximum efficiency. Range of motion testing can indicate which muscles have decreased contractibility, and precise forces are applied to restore that muscle’s efficiency. Learn more about MAT.

Brad is the owner of Optimal Muscle Performance and is a certified Muscle Activation Technique Specialist and personal trainer.
 
Whether clients are looking to improve performance in their sport or favorite activity, prevent injury, overcome physical challenges or pain, increase strength, or simply live a healthier lifestyle, Brad is committed to helping his clients achieve their goals.
OUR LOCATION
 
Our facility is located inside Smith PT & Running Clinic at 215 Exchange Drive, Suite E2, in Crystal Lake, Illinois.
 
Our facility is equipped with a treatment table as well as a full training gym, so we can help our clients meet all of their fitness goals. We have an alternate location in Glenview inside Activation Fitness. Upon request, we also travel to client homes within the Mchenry County area.  
PERSONAL TRAINING
 
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Brad has over 20 years of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer. Brad specializes in working one-on-one with clients using the unique Muscle Activation Technique process.
